#1_PERCEPTIVE UTOPIAS

SCIENTIFIC CHALLENGE

The artistic work is based on the researches of Lev Landau, the Nobel Prize in Physics (1962). In this installation, the idea is to create what is called in quantum physics, a spatiotemporal curvature (singular point) which connects two points very distant one from the other in the space and two events, very distant one from the other in time, by means of a cosmic tunnel.

In the quantum statistics, the singular point is in the life of an organism, a point of transition to a new state (in the case of a human body, it can be the birth, the death, the revival, the madness).

The name of the installation - Singularizator - is derived from this term (singular point) and of the French word “singular” meaning an unusual situation, an event, as well as an extraordinary person.

ARTISTIC CHALLENGE

This project handles the question of the perception and contains utopian proposals of improvement of the human being (by stimulating the opportunities of perception).
